Sealed Air Celebrates 25th Anniversary of Listing on New York Stock Exchange; President and CEO William V. Hickey To Ring Closing Bell

SADDLE BROOK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 19, 2004--Sealed Air Corporation (NYSE:SEE) announced today that the Company will celebrate twenty-five years of listing on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) by ringing the closing bell on Thursday, May 20, 2004 at 4:00 p.m. EDT.

Sealed Air, founded in 1960 with the invention of Bubble Wrap(R) cushioning, was listed on the NYSE in May 1979. Over the past twenty-five years, the Company's annual sales have increased from $70 million to greater than $3.5 billion today.
